  • Whether they are damaging or not to the extent some people believe, the above statement is meaningless. Gamma radiation can go through much more material than alpha radiation. But gamma is far less damaging to people precisely BECAUSE it can more easily pass through you.

Of course, the alpha radiation's got to reach you first - which pretty much means eating it! (I know there are other ways of ingesting it)

Of course, which is why saying which type is "safer" depends on the context, how damaging it is or how easy it is to contain. As for wifi being on the same frequency as a Microwave, well that's true they are microwaves but the energies involved are about ten thousand times smaller and there's no evidence that any small effect is cumulative.

No, only radiation. You're the one obsessed with tools. :D

Sounds like your original metaphor was almost talking about resonance but I don't know why you didn't simply say that. And if so you haven't said how that's relevant.

I haven't the faintest idea what you are on about.

Just say exactly what you mean without resorting to these odd metaphors and analogies.

Jelly wobbles (resonates?) ... loose brains also wobble like jelly.

What else might make a brain wobble?

Millionare reckoned Bluetooth did it for him...
