    and upgraded from IE8 to IE9 at some point would you? yes
    Flash would never work correctly in IE9 ditto

    I uninstalled IE9 ditto
    and went back to IE8 ditto
    and Flash worked absolutely fine after that (hated IE9 anyway).Ah! Lucky you! After reverting to IE8 Flash only works as Admin,not user
