Just wondering if there's a way to find out the cheapest unltd 30 day rolling sim only contract? Billmonitor doesn't really include these in a clear manner. Anybody heard of any good deals?

Best I've found thus far is TMobile 26p/m unltd everything, chitterchatter retail stores do the same for new and transferring customers but with £6 cashback, so 20 per month.

Virgin Premiere Sim Only (30 day contract) gives you
    • Unlimited minutes to landlines
    • 2500 minutes
    • Unlimited texts
    • Unlimited Mobile Web
and i believe it also include unlimited calls to Virgin Mobiles.

The unltd. calls to other Virgin mobiles is only for Virgin Media customers. But the Virgin sim, unlike the t mobile one, allows unltd tethering. My son has the £17/mth version of it with 1200 mins instead of 2500 and he's been tethering like a madman (at an average of 3.5mb running off a wifi hotspot created on a £65 Huawei G300!)) for a couple of weeks now (in rented accom with no landline) and no extra charges at all. Who needs a land line.

Virgin's new PAYG offer looks unbeatable to me.

'Big data and text': unlimited data, 300 texts and £10 towards calls (but watch the rates * ;)) for a month for £10 top up, unlimited data and texts and £15 towards calls for £15 top up.

'Big Talk' offers a similar package for busy talkers but no data.

    * seems to be 26p/minute, so only 38 UK minutes for the £10 offer if I calculate correctly, or 57 minutes for the £15 offer.

I have mine for a while and I have them and i am not a Virgin Media Customer. Not that i need them 2500 minutes suits me.:D and as you indicate the truly unlimited data makes it a cracking deal.

However, if the network does not provide satisfactory service where you need it, it will be a big waste of money. Not all networks provide the same coverage (I cannot use Orange and T-Mobile) as the BTS's are too far away to be of use.

    Er, yes. 8OqnIl5XDfXCDzaLvRkl8iTXSKPtgvd2yBwYznvuZmc3anstKpyIABS4Wb5ccwp5do7gfvqIp4r87l3dXLOyGPP8OGgbYULAZDmxszewpIkszgP4TgP4ZIks5m9dGluUB0MsPUA1zqvb8KiM90AAAAASUVORK5CYII=8OqnIl5XDfXCDzaLvRkl8iTXSKPtgvd2yBwYznvuZmc3anstKpyIABS4Wb5ccwp5do7gfvqIp4r87l3dXLOyGPP8OGgbYULAZDmxszewpIkszgP4TgP4ZIks5m9dGluUB0MsPUA1zqvb8KiM90AAAAASUVORK5CYII=

I mentioned Virgin's 'Big Data and Text' and 'Big Talk' offers, and added a note of caution for data users also wanting to make calls. £10-worth of calls would probably be enough for me with the Skype app, but may not suit others, hence the advice. ;)

I still think it's a great deal and will appeal to those who are fed up with Three.
