It would anyway if it was just a copy/paste of the text. It's the underlying address in the html that matters so it's that in the original which needs to be looked at not the post above...

Still worth looking at your original email to check if it was genuine or not. If it wasn't then you got off lightly.

It isn't intended to work. Look at the text mygenuinebank.com then hover the mouse over it and look at the real link shown by the browser which is scammersdelight.com

What is being said is ... what you see in an email is NOT NECESSARILY the actual link you go to.

If you point your mouse over that mygenuinebank link then look at the status bar (bottom of browser) you will see that the ACTUAL link is scammersdelight.com ... it is an example of what was being explained.
