Hi,this might be in the wrong place, if so I'm sorry :-(
Am assuming this company are to do with mobile phones?!!

Just checked bnk account and 2 direct debate went out yesterday to this company, one for £6.99 and one for £5.99.
I have NO IDEA what it's for or who they are.

Problem is, the bank account is hubby's, not mine, he just likes me to check it each day.

Who is this company, and what do they do?

Might be an idea to ask your hubby then?
It's insurance on his mobile, which he may have inadvertantly signed up for when taking outhis mobile contract. This is often added by the retailer and the user fails to check or cancel it. Often the first month is free as a sweetener.
2 handsets, by the look of it-so has he had a new contract and then neglected to cancel insurance on the old one?
