I have run the link and hopefully fixed the updates problem, there was a moved component. I have tried to update again but there were no important updates today nor the one that kept failing.
Thank you again for your help it has been very much appreciated.
Presumably there is no more to do but I will find out when I next update. Thank you.0 -

The first of the new infected files is:
"E:\MY-PC\Backup Set 2011-08-25 192416\Backup Files 2011-08-25 192416\Backup files 10.zip";"Trojan horse Generic30.HEH";"Infected"
That file is created by the Windows Vista backup utility, you probably have it configured to make a backup of your system every so often. Since that backup just contains another copy of some or all of your main hard drive, it will have backed up the false positive virus and stuck it in there.
If the original file is safe then the backup is also safe. Did you upload that file to virustotal.com yet?0
