Heavy rain and a force 10 gale here wmf!0

Possession - I have a boy and girl rabbit that live together. The girl is always trying to hump the boy!
He has been done and I don't think he knows what to make of it all! But I wouldn't worry that it is necessarily a boy.0 -
I'm sorry I've been absent, but Nursie has been keeping us rather busy. Given that we've a small 1 bed unit, there was no getting away from her. I must thank you sometime in person for sending her GQ
.
Sorry I've missed your troubles and haven't been of support, but for a couple of weeks I was at the end of my tether here and we were both feeling pretty depressed, I didn't want to whinge more and couldn't offer anything to anyone. But I'm sending love now xxUmmm, I'm feeling a wee bit guilty now. You don't know exactly where I am in Englandshire, do you? Have I time to hide before your annual trip back to Blighty?
Glad to have you back posting and sorry to here that you and hubby have been poorly. I'm expecting a sudden improvement now that Nursie has left, funny how she has that effect on people.......:rotfl:
*wanders off to clear out Nursie's cupboard and check that the restraints are in good conditon*So I wonder what happened to the money the councils got for the sales of council houses? My mum & dad had a council house after my dad came out the Navy - after they'd been there about 15 years they were able to buy it & only because of the reduction in price for existing tenants. It beats me why the councils wer'n't allowed to invest in new housing.Hi, and hi to Nargleblast; the local authorites don't get to keep the money from council house sales. It goes to central government, and a % of it comes back with conditions on it being spent on the housing revenue account (repairs to existing stock). None of it is for new building. It's all to do with the complicated way the council builds were financed back in the day.
Allotment news:
Hokay, I have detected movement on the slug front and am thinking that, even though it is early and the crop isn't yet up, it may be time to start slug-pubbing.
Beer or cider, whaddaya recommend? Got to be cheep-cheep.
:T Oh, and joy be unconfined, I have actually seen cherry trees in blossom today. And the flower seeds I threw about at random on Saturday may be germinating. Or they may be weedlings. It'll take a bit more growth before I can be sure what's what.
Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

That makes me feel better as I looked at all the pictures online to help you sex your rabbit and I can't tell at all! Maybe as they are still young it isn't that obvious yet.0 -

Morning toughies,
How is everyone? Anyone heard how fuddle's doing? How are you today mar?
Well not the most productive of weeks since kids been back to school. 2 reluctant boys back on Monday and I didn't sleep well Sun eve (mind whirring) and its been a bit downhill eversince. Mon night DH kept me awake with his confounded snoring. DS6 felt ill Tues after school and has been home since with a temperature and poor thing had us both up Tues and last night. Result 2 shattered parents! Today DS6 seems brighter so hopefully back to school tomorrow, hope so as my course is on Fridays. I really struggle when I don't sleep well so 4 nights in a row isn't good - don't know how I coped when they were babies, I was a zombie all the time.
Ok well onto good things. DS6 and I counted the cheery cherry blossom on the way home from dropping off DS8 at school (inspired by GQ). Sun is out now and I am mid bed stripping. Took off the bottom layer duvets and airing all DS6 duvets on line, about to swap for DS8's. Then remake and ditto for our bed and then wash bedding. Need to wash hair and attempt tomorrow's coursework (had for 3 weeks!!!) before brain packs up completely. Currently administering regular treatments of hot drinks and biscuits - medicinal purposes you understand.
DS8 came home from school with a form for school athletics club - really not his thing, we are more a books and films family than sports and get our exercise by walking (running if you are under 9) in fresh air and more sedate stuff like swimming. I really thought he should give the club a go though (confidence boosting and all) lucky for him saved by a chance text from a friend. DS8 now has the last place in gardening club starting next week and he is estatic. Proud that he knows what he likes and developing some OS tastes!
ok enough rambling/stalling, off to sort beds again
take care everyone

Possession, if you turn the bunny on its back it should lie there quite calmly and you can blow gently on its nether regions then if its a boy something will pop up - seriously thats what vets do. Warning do not try this on larger animals as you may find yourself in difficult to explain situations! Females do mount each other especially cows- its called bulling in the farming world and is accompanied by the farmer shouting 'call the AI man' as it means they are ready to breed. Its strange the wealth of information on this site
Its very windy here still and all I can hear is whistling. We now have an upside down garden table and one of my (empty) little greenhouses is halfway down the garden. Hope the wind drops soon cant do a flipping thing out there at the mo!
Theres a lot of poorly children around isnt there? Bugs and colds are multiplying fast. Hope they all get well soon xxClearing the junk to travel light

I will get my caravan0 -
Hi toughies, finally have a whole day off. Have so far taken mum to the local hospital for a chest xray, she has had a bad cough for 4 weeks and its not going. Last year she had fluid on her lungs, and her astmha has got worse just lately. We then went to @ldi to get her some shopping.
Don't forget next Thursday 'should' be the day they have the £5 coupon in the mirror newspaper. If you are good, you can use one voucher that day and the following week do it again as the coupons last for 7 days.
I have come home today and 2 fence panels have fallen down and the posts have been broken off. Now heres my dilemma , we originally put up the fence as we had our dog then. DO you think I should pay to have a new fence put up, and we are talking 11 panels and posts. Or should I just leave it, and hope that next door will get one as they now have a small dog. It is something I really just cant afford, we are sailing very close to the wind at the moment money wise.
I know everyone Is finding things hard, but we both work and after just the basic living costs we never seam to have any money left at the end of the month.... I even park and walk 5 minutes into town to save £1.50 a day I just don't know how much more I can take, everyday seems to be a struggle and its getting worse and worse.
On a better note, DD has just been accepted to do level 3 health and social care - a 2 year course. Some of her friends have been told they cant do it, or they will be re assessed in 6 weeks. Thank goodness me giving her a lecture that her work need to be the best has made her do her best.
Have a nice day everyone, im off for a milky coffee and toast for lunch.BSC member 137

Another here with a poorly child (well, 16 year old) - the dreaded norovirus hit DD at about 1.30 this morning
I think we're on 5 lots of vomit so far (hope no-ones eating) but none for a few hours so it might have passed. She's suffering the effects of dehydration now, but has managed to keep some fluids down, including rehydration solution.
I have to teach at 3 but I think she can be left for an hour or so till DS comes home, and OH will be home for 4ish - thank goodness for a flexible job and an understanding employer.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Hi SQ I hope FUDDLE is OK as well. I hope she's over her bad throat and I should think she's absolutely out on her feet these days with the long hours and the full time job, so she'll be trying to play catch up on all the everyday chores in her spare time and not much time for chatting on here. If you are able to read along pet it would be lovely to hear from you just to let us know it's all going well, Cheers Lyn xxx.0
