I forgot, we were very accurate too in working out the re- building cost and the cost of clearing the land, it actually worked out less than the market value of the house

we have pv panels on frames on top of a special flat roof that slopes. We are even insured for the wind blowing them off, the insurer was so helpful

Oh Pooky, what a horrible woman, Oh gets upset when people are like that when he is in his chair or on a stick, do they think people choose to be bloomin disabled  Im afraid my good manners would have flown out of the window then.

OH just took my boot off for me - better late than never and the ankle is swollen but not too bad. the cat is being very nice to me and staying out of the way :p

Its freezing here so am off for a shower and get more warm togs on.

mnnagran, I cannot believe you are 73 you sound the same age as me - is that daft - Im 53 ish.

Ds has finally left me in peace and is upstairs vaccuming his room and generally tidying. He is rather OCD but not in a bad way, obviously from years of living with an untidy disorganised Mum but he never moans at me.

    Hugs to all ginny

Just catching now. It's sad to think Rummy's poorly :( Andrea, are you on there as one of the syndicate?

Byatt, you celebrate how ever you feel. I know if I was on my own I would make things galore and make myself some gorgeous food, have a nice tipple and read a good book.

I've gone around the living room pricing things up. It's come up to £4000. I could replace things for less than £1000. Really confusing.

Edit: Crikey prejudice amongst horses now!

Best to cover my back, I know. I feel greedy!

Just heard something crazy on the news. People are drinking the hand gel out of the hospitals due to it's high levels of alcohol

Mcculloch, just watched it. glad you reminded us it was on. first time in a long time i've found myself shouting at the tele! so pleased he was placed. How is he recovering?

feeling a bit lost tonight. all housework done, butties made for girls dinner tomorrow, washing done, uniforms ironed, girls in bed soon after 6 and dd2 asleep by half past 6. (dd1 by 7). DH is at work.
I know there's stuff I should be doing, but I think a hot bath and an early night are in order.

It's the funeral of the young soldier that was stabbed in cyprus (i think it was cyprus) on friday and one of my collegues is attending with her son as they were best friends. work are going to be a tad unhappy if i'm at a funeral on the same day. not a lot they can do about it though if that's the day DH's uncle is to be buried. (day hasn't been confirmed yet but sods law says it'll be friday).

That reminds me actually, must go and find a button to sew onto my one pair of decent trousers.
night peeps x sleep well x

eta. they normally go to bed at about 7 but both of them wanted to go up early tonight as they were tired. when i went up to check on them they were both curled up in the top bunk together...again. now, i know sisters are supposed to love each other, but it seems my two also like each other :D I don't recall ever liking my sister that much ;)

Aw that's cute lisakay. :) Hope for your sanity it isn't Friday.

Byatt, I say get that book and put it away till the day, that way you'll have something to look forward to. It looks interesting. A cookbook but with a poignant story.

I am so sick of people being rude that I have started pulling them up the minute they do it...naming the game is very effective in stopping them and it might just stop them upsetting someone more sensitive next time!

I even had someone ring me up on my mobile to be rude to me the other night, over something that was nothing to do with me. I am afraid I gave him a piece of my mind and I have no doubt he will never ring me again......

We have gale force winds here now but at least its stopped raining...and we still have power and the internet.
