Well done you, and well done them. Great result. They defo saved their reputation. Lovely to hear of a big company phoning to offer a sincere apology :T:T:T

    Result!
I am very glad I didn’t use the word ‘complaint’ as I’ve just had a very nice phone call from a very polite and apologetic chap from the Disney on Ice team.
Not only are the kids getting goodie bags in the post, but we have been invited back in the February to their new show where the kids will definitely get to go on the ice! I’ve just checked my emails and they have already sent me a selection of dates to choose from.
I’m well chuffed! Mostly that the kids will still get the opportunity to go on the ice which I think will be a memory they will keep forever. Money can’t buy memories like that, which is the fab thing about comps

That's wonderful, I know how children can be very disappointed by things they expect.
not all companies do the same. my grandsons first visit to WDW Florida, and he was in the queue at the meet and greet, he forgot his autograph book and went to get it, and the couple behind him (with no children) complained to the cast member and she took him out of the queue, he was only 5, and he left crying
Thanks to all who post comps :)
