Beware - Bradford Bathroom Company

I placed an order on the 6th of March. It did arrive - late and poorly packaged - but it did and at that time, everything seemed to be OK.

When unboxing a shower head, I noticed the ball joint and rubber were missing. I then wrote to the sales department which, at first, seemed to be willing to solve the problem. It's been a month since our last exchange and nothing's changed. The shower head is unusable without that.

Follow-up : the day I wrote this review, they finally came back in touch... in a poorly adequate way :

They could have chosen to say something like "we're sorry for the inconvenience, maybe your email got lost" (which I would have understood), but they chose to reply, shooting
- "you have NOT REPLIED" (but they show a screencap with one of my replies... come on...) and
- "I also see you have left a bad review on trustpilot ? " --- "Please remove this Turstpilot review then we can send the shower head - Look forward to these actions ",
and then later on...
" - remove the remove (I guess they meant 'review') then we can sort the shower head out"
and finally :
" - I have asked you remove, Take off the Trustpilot review "

I call that - BLACKMAILING - : "you remove bad review, we send missing part", and such behaviour is just unacceptable.

Maybe they hired some mannerless guy that goes by the name of "Sam" or "Melanie", depending on how wrong things go with their customers (their english sounds rather 'chenglish', just like the product they sell, BTW), too bad if this is the case.

Again, this could have been solved by a simple "sorry, can you please confirm your email address, as it looks we may have missed your email"... I'd have resent it and adjusted my review without asking, even 2.5 month after the initial order...

But, they chose... blackmailing.

Sorry, british bathrooms, I'm not removing my review. You can keep the missing parts, I'll buy a new complete shower head. 80€ is nothing comparing to blackmailing.

You people like when everything goes as expected ? In-time delivery, careful packaged ? Quick answer to possible issues ? => Don't buy from british bathrooms, bradford bathrooms or whatever other brand they go by.

I'm a lazy cheap git and usually lurk, but their service is STILL so shockingly bad so that's why I HAD TO post. They might be a small family business but they run it like they're operating out of the back of a van. And this forum comes up in the top searches on google so I'm warning other customers here. They're better off asking someone else to price match if British Bathroom Company are the cheapest or just paying a little extra.

I put a big order through, it came in several deliveries and had to chase them for weeks. Eventually 2 radiator valves never turned up and after weeks more chasing in the end I couldn't be bothered to deal with them and had to finish the job so I just let it go.

I didn't lose the lesson though.

I came across this thread as their prices on their website are good so thought I would have a quick look at reviews before parting with my money.

Interesting as stated above that they are in fact the same company with two names. Their google reviews are good on the most part but when you look further into them funnily enough all the positive reviewers have only ever posted positive reviews about the Bradford Bathroom Company and British Bathroom Company- what are the chances! Plus they are all generic waffle about the wonderful service provided.

I think I'll pay a bit extra and take my custom elsewhere...plus their website wanted to quote me postage to the IOW at extra charge despite my address being on the mainland...

I too, came across this "Bradford Bathroom Company" apparently selling a bathscreen that I was after at way below other prices on the net. It was so cheap that alarm bells rang in my head !!
It DOES appear that this is the same company as "The British Bathroom Company".
A huge thanks to all of you for posting your bad experiences with this company. It looks like you've probably saved me a lot of hassle. And a big thanks too, for forums like this that save us money and worries !

I ordered a butler sink from them on Feb 16th. I paid extra for 48hr delivery.
so far only the taps have turned up and it's now 26th Feb - no calls
I called them several times - on 3 occasions, they simply put the phone down on me and all i did was state my name and the order number.
truly shocking customer service and just appalling delivery mentaility. Joke company. avoid.
