one Gladstonbury ticket selling for ten million pounds!!!

Found this listing on Ebay for one ticket to Gladstonbury festival.
It has to be a wind-up.

Wonder what the FVF will be. Ebay (and the greedy ticket sellers) will make a fortune thanks to the festival.

have you noticed several bids been cancelled as they are 'ebay hoaxes' - wonder what they think of the 10 milliln bid...optimistic maybe?!

I guess that's Glasto goers trying to sabotage the touts. Mind you, the touting is totally unacceptable. It's possible to get refunds up until 13th May (I believe Glastonbury is the only festival to permit this). Not only that but as photo ID is required for entry by falsifying photo ID the winning bidder is committing a criminal offence.

Mad! It strikes me as very odd that the touts are so persistent.

i dont think the people buying glasto tickets through ebay are actually going to break the law by falsifying photo id, i just think they will take the risk and not take any photo id at all.

Why? the people bidding it up so high are just trying to protect people who may bid then receive tickets in someone else's name and have wasted their money! Fair play to glastonbury, it's a good policy they have in place and will hopefully work to stop touts. If ebay were a bit more efficient and stopped prohibited listings quicker people wouldn't be tempted to place rediculous bids to stop the auctions going ahead! I haven't a problem with normal touts as although people are paying over the odds that's their choice and they will get in but in this case people could pay hundreds and not even see the event!

There's loads of these warning auctions too, people are really trying to stop these tickets!

They don't usually enforce the name on the ticket scheme. And I'm sure a tenner slipped into one of the security team would get them through. Always happens.

Apparently not if last years reports in the chat rooms and even on Watchdog (BBC1) are believed.
