My local Home Bargains has HP beans.
    Illegitimi non carborundum.
  • if you change it depends what you want from a tin of baked beans. i have them for the sauce to mop up my chips etc therefore find sainsburys basics beans best, they taste nice and have lots of sauce and are cheap!

I changed over to these when they came out top on a testing on TV. Haven't been able to get them for ages - like the original poster said, they just seemed to disappear. But then loads of products keep doing that - I can't get Burgess creamed horseradish anywhwere and I really like that. All the supermarkets seem to stock is Colmans or own label (which is probably also Colmans) and I can't stand it. Choice is definitely disappearing.

Hi, hope this helps, 2 days ago my local Somerfield store had on a promotion end, 4 pack, BOGOF,,,, sorry i didnt notice the end date of promo, cos from HP i went to branston beans, which are on BOGOF at Tesco at the mo. but still got my stash from 3 months ago, lol. But home bargains do HP beans and 8 sausage for 49p which i always buy everytime im there, bargain meal that tastes great that my 2 kids enjoy.. I work at Tesco, other then points deals it pays to shop arround, home bargains is a bargain.
