Another value for money smartphone question...
I know there are a million similar questions (and I've worked through some of the replies) but cyberspace is limitless (possibly) so here's another:-
I bought an Orange San Francisco a couple of years ago and it's probably the best gadget I've ever bought in terms of value for money. My fianc!e is looking for a new phone so I instantly thought about the San Francisco but has it been superseded by another budget smartphone?
Our budget is around £100 and I suppose it's value for money which we're interested in. I've put a new ROM on my phone so am happy to mess around with it if there are detailed instructions online.
Thanks!

Huawei G300 is "OSF 2012".
Accidentally it costs about £100, locked to Voda, can be unlocked for a fiver.
Search the board for 'g300'.0 -
+ 1 for the G300.
If you read through this it tells you everything you need to know about it although the Tesco deal has long since gone ! https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/41650690 -
Another vote for the G300. It's a no brainer at £100 but at £66 from Very it's the mobile bargain of the decade so far...

What about a Tmobile Vivacity (=San Francisco 2)? You can get it for around £65 including postage. I got it for £49 a few months ago, but that deal is no longer on.
You can unlock it for free or else pay a fiver for someone else to do it.0 -

Just a quick update to say that I bought the Huawei Ascend and am very impressed with it. It puts my San Francisco to shame!0
