Beware-unlimited usually does not mean what any right minded English speaker would think it means! I have seen 500 MB claimed as unlimited, with no tethering allowed - or charged for at a staggering price. Hate to say, but Vodafone used to have a lot of deals like that, so check check check before you run up a bill of hundreds of pounds!
The only genuine 'unlimited' (quantity,tethered) offer at the moment is on three, or a cheeky abuse of the t-mobile Monty voice plan (although they had a terms change recently), the other plans all had caps, excluded tethering or hotspot use, and were 'unlimited' in the sense that you could see the whole internet not just a walled garden. Be very careful, it can be a very very expensive mistake0
