Ebay not as described - seller claims I damaged item

I don't see what the ops feedback has to do with this-thats a long period of time and doesn't seem ott to me.
Fact still stands that op has a faulty laptop, seller is being awkward. Doesn't matter when the damage happened, it's within the 45 days-there is a case open. Ebay will do what ebay does and most likely side with the buyer.0 -

How would you feel, someone posts your entire history of bad experiences on ebay in one post for everyone t judge. What did I do to deserve that? 99% of my experience on ebay has been positive.
Thanks for everyone's help, I really mean that. I'm going to ask mods to delete the thread if possible as it has turned rather sour.0 -
We're not here to judge the OP based on a small number of feedback left over the duration of 7 years!!!We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

Techspec and hermione, your posts are very unfair and verging on bullying, so I suggest you refrain from posting unless you have anything helpful to say.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
^That's not really fair, would you want everyone to see your negative feedback left over 8 years, thats a private thing. Guess it was a mistake to reveal my ebay username on here. I've reported your post.
I'm afraid that ebay feedback is anything but private.
The whole idea of feedback is to see how people conduct themselves with regards to buying & selling and how problems are resolved if & when they occur.your posts are very unfair and verging on bullying
"and had no problems really until now"
11 negs and neutrals may not be that many in 7 years, but it's clearly not "no problems".
If the OP is willing to make it appear as if their ebay history has been totally perfect when it is clear that this isn't the case, why should anything else they state be trusted.
Good advice can only be offered if true and correct facts are posted, and if something throws doubt on what someone states, what is wrong with making those doubts public?0 -

How can it be unfair if it is in direct response to a comment made by the OP

So by your own words op cannot be telling truth or whos veracity cannot be trusted because of some negs/neuts the last of which was over 18 months ago..
The fact you went looking to dig dirt on the op speaks volumes about who you are more than anything else...0 -

You having a laugh?
I'm normally against linking to peoples ebay accounts on here - it happens too often. But it was relevant to the ops claim of this being their first problem.
The op has retaliated with a negative because a seller filed a NPB - that could have cost the seller his or her account.
The Op has left a neatral without contacting the seller first.
The Op as also left another neutral because he/she didnt like a product - even though the seller ddn't make it and offered a full refund.
Sorry, but the OP does not always sort things out as claimed. So, although i did not provide the link - i do think i am right to block the OP from bidding on my items.
Bullying - your clearly one of this people who only has to be looked at the wrong way to accuse people. Get a grip.
If past feedback is irrellavent - in THIS case - the op threatened to neg the seller. Thats nearer bullying - and AGAINST Ebay policy.0 -

Yes, feedback is public and it should be judged in totality don't you think?
I posted my name so everyone could see, my feedback is 100% over the last 12 months and I haven't left any negs. What you have done is posted the tiny percentage of all my transactions where I've had a problem over the past 8 years. I was 17 in 2005/6 when most of that feedback was left. I'm 24 now.0 -
Please stop it. The OP has a legitimate problem and has lost a considerable amount of money - past issues with past sellers should have no bearing on that."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
