I don't understand why the Nationwide FlexPlus account (yes I see it's mentioned below) isn't included in the Analyser results, especially as it's the best because the Breakdown Cover includes Homestart. (Mobile 'null' appears in the Analyser results).0

I don't see any 'null', and FlexPlus does appear as "Top Pick" at the bottom if I select joint, mobile insurance for 2, breakdown Europe, travel World, Couple, age <650

I was impressed by the costing of the benefits on this article, but I felt you should also mention the interest paid by the Flexplus account, which normally reduces my monthly payment by at least £1 per month, plus the fact that overseas withdrawals are fee free at at a good exchange rate.:j:j0

I tried the analyser, turning on travel and breakdown insurance, but the only option I got was Barclays with tech pack and nationwide flex plus.
I currently have the Barclays account, but for legacy reasons have most of the "packs" (tech, travel, gadget, home...) and am looking to reduce these as they're too expensive to use all of them. But I would expect the "travel" to come up as an option, at (only?) £10.50 a month.
Also when I chose "no mobile insurance" it gave me a "show all" button at the bottom of the list. But when I turned on the "mobile insurance" it only gave me the 2. No option to show and compare any further.
Otherwise a great tool. Thanks.0 -
I recently used Nationwide's flexplus mobile insurance as I sat on my phone! £25 excess and a week later my phone was no longer banana shaped with a cracked screen and they appear to have replaced the battery too. So happy to report this aspect of the insurance works well.0

I currently have an HSBC Premier account which I am perfectly happy with. However, I would switch immediately if I could find one that included airport lounge access. The HSBC Premier card (Mastercard) used to include access to many airport lounges worldwide but over a number of years they covertly demised this and then, surprise, surprise, launched a new Premier "world elite" card that includes "Loungekey" but for a couple, the sting is a £250 annual fee. Seriously bad behaviour by HSBC for not being open and honest about what they were doing.0

The NatWest Black account throws in PriorityPass membership, they kept trying to upgrade my old private bank account to it, but at £28/month, I decided that buying a PP outright was a better use of my money!
YMMV but I've found the only cost effective packaged account to be FlexPlus (but then I do have 4 iPhones in the family to insure)0 -
The Smile More account includes lounge access (selectable) through Dragon Pass - as well as Travel insurance and breakdown cover. Includes both of you if joint account. Costs about 15 pcm0
