Was just wondering how big the tariff difference is for small orderss?

Depends on the company.
The cost of delivering any amount of oil must be in the region of £50?? for transport and labour. Every tradesman for appliance repair seems to have a £50 call-out fee; and they don't come in a big truck!!
If £50 is a reasonable estimate it would mean that on delivery of 1,000 litres the cost is 5p a litre.
Delivery cost on 40 litres would work out at £1.25 a litre plus the cost of oil!!0 -

But what I mean is the dealers who would deliver drums of the stuff.0 -

Lagan oils for example ( from their website) is charging
