You are talking about a 7 mile trip to work now (so about 10 min drive i guess) and a new 20 mile trip to work, (about 30 mins drive). Not a huge difference if you want to keep a job. Sounds to me that OP you do not want to do the commute or keep the job.
In answer to your question though, I would say that 20 miles to work is the max I would travel for £18-19k and that would only be if there were promotion prospects further down the line.0 -
