Today & tommorrow, in some stores and online0

on the OPs link, you can scroll down to store locator, then pick your town/area, tick the "Christmas shopping evening" box then "find" and it will bring up which stores are having the events on which dates.
In my area, there are some today, some tomorrow, some on 14th, and some on 15th November.0 -

IT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN SMALLER STORES
Larger stores only, it has not been communicated to smaller stores and is not coming through on their tills
Just had real problems in Newark ,Nottinghamshire store, on a £120 spend.
Please check before purchasing and don't miss out in smaller shops x
I hope you are going to email and complain.. Newark is not that small! .they may honour the points0 -

Thanks for this - can I just check that the additional voucher is at a checkout/ till - and not on an advantage card machine? So, I'd have to buy something little first to get the additional voucher?....0 -
It does state in the t's & C's that:
In-store collect £12 worth of Advantage card points with every £50 you spend in a single transaction on qualifying products.
and I'm sure that's how it worked last year (£24 for every £100).
However it does also state (@BargainhunterII)
During any points event, both in store and online, existing points promotions will not be multiplied.sarahj1986 wrote: »my store has the points event tomorrow. It says for every £50 you get £12 worth of points. This may sound silly but do I need to do the tranactions together or seperate to get it, for example if I brought £100 worth of stuff should I do £50 x 2 or 1 lot of £100 for £24 worth of points...0 -

No it can't... there's a lot of T&Cs but basically you can't use it on infant milk, medicines etc...
"Unfortunately you cannot spend points on Boots Opticians, Boots Hearingcare, mobile phone top-up cards, prescription items, infant milk (up to 6 months) gift vouchers/cards, postage stamps, Travel Services and Boots Insurance."
Says so in Terms here: http://www.boots.com/en/Christmas/Online-Advantage-Card-points-event/I just went to my local one: Was shopping away and picked up these:

Got to the till and the lady told me triple points didn't kick in till midday! It meant browsing the make up for 10 mins so I could get my lovely points!
I spent £115 total savings of £62 and received 2460 points.
Managed to wipe out six xmas pressies too so I'm happy.

Forgot to mention whilst at the till another voucher came out saying as I'd gone to this Points event I would get a bonus 500 points if I went along to another one later in the year and spent over £50. It's quite likely I'll buy more in Boots and spend way over £50 so worth bearing in mind a bonus £5.00 of points!
