    Hi all,

Okay I am officially banning myself from the grabbit board.....

I have got some absolute bargins for the family for Christmas, but have just had a sort out of the packages under the bed and I must have spent at least 50 quid on me..... Bloomin cookery books and some fab makeup, but I didn,t need them, just wanted them..... When will I learn.

On top of that went to Mr S this morning and they have got 25% off clothes, at least I held back on spending too much, just a lush jumper for OH that I was eyeing up for him for Xmas and some cute slipper socks for DD.

Looks like we,ve gone from beans on toast for November to just toast:o

The kittens have gone from turbo mode to love mode, so I guess the pain relief has warn off - bless em.

Hope you have a fab Halloween and those of you not looking forward to it don,t get "bugged" by callers - DS2 (14) announced he was going trick or treating with his mates - I have said an definate NO, as I think a bunch of teenagers knocking on doors could be seen as intimidating to some - he sulked for about 10 minutes, but has just come back to say that if I can buy him a bag of sweets, he won,t go as he doesn,t want to scare people - i,ve bought popcorn and treats for later anyway, so he,ll live.

Love n hugs to those in need xx

Just got back from the Metropolis. My quilting was great this morning although the teacher is bit aghast at my 'gung-ho' attitude to accurate measuring. When she pointed out that one of my pieces was about 2 mms too short I said that a blind man would be glad to see it and merrily carried on. She shuddered.
Weather doesn't know what it is doing today. It goes from pitch black so that you have to have all the lights on, to brilliant sunshine so you turn them all off again, then back to darkness again.

Where I do quilting is opposite to the pound shop - woo-hoo!
Came back with loads of goodies.

Judi: Count me in on the secret messies. Sometimes, alas, it's not so secret.
Males and bathrooms don't really mix, do they? I know that when mine were still at home the bathroom usually looked as if someone had been sheep dipping up there.

That's it. This is an illegal visit so back to the grind.

Evening all, just popped in to tell Monnagran what my friend says to me 'THERE ARE NO QUILT POLICE!!!!!!!!!!!!' Just say that to the teacher. It's meant to be enjoyed as a creative thing not an exact science. Just enjoy it :rotfl:
