Its an exceptionally expensive card to have and you really need to be travelling a lot to get close to making it worth while. That said, if you do and do like flying higher classes etc then it certainly can repay itself quickly through promotional rates, free stays, free upgrades etc. I've flown twice with him on business and both times we were upgraded from Business to First.

I dont know as much about the business version but I suspect the spending needs to be significantly higher across the account otherwise its not a difficult target to hit.
