Natwest Cash ISA and e-ISA

I bank with Natwest and have an old Cash ISA that I withdrew all my savings out of (£5000) as the %rate was so low, I then transferred it to their e-savings account getting 1%AER.

A couple of months ago I added £70 to my cash ISA by mistake and quickly moved it to my e-savings.

I'm now having a look at their e-ISA and it has a higher %rate. I'm wondering if I can move my money into their e-ISA or have I messed it up as I have already payed money into an ISA this year? I have a current account with them so I would like to keep it all within the same bank if possible.

How to I go about transferring ISA's that are with the same bank? Would I have to fill in that form and send it off?

It's a shame you didn't transfer (using the official transfer procedure) your ISA to another provider earlier in the year, when they paid 3 or 4 times the interest you get in your e-savings account. And that you appear to have missed the 2.85% e-savings account Natwest were offering for a couple of weeks until yesterday.

If all you paid into an ISA this year is £70, you still have £5,570 of your allowance left. You can open a cash ISA with a provider who allows transfers-in, request them to transfer your old ISA, and then pay into that new ISA up the £5,570 before April 6 2013.

Whether Natwest would allow you to do it, you would have to discuss with them. However, they don't figure in the top ISA list right now (and usually don't figure in any top-list for any savings).
