Thought I remembered seeing a recipe for this on Superscrimpers, so here it is:
Claire's Merry Homemade Irish Cream
What you'll need
Cup of condensed milk, cup of double cream, cup of whiskey, tsp of instant coffee, tsp of vanilla extract
+ Blender, microwave, bottle for decanting
How to do it
STEP 1: Sterilise your bottle by washing it in hot water or on the hot cycle in a dishwasher. Dry by placing it a preheated oven at 160C/325F/Gas 3 for 10-15 mins, then leave to cool.
STEP 2: Throw all your ingredients into the blender
STEP 3: Blend for 30 secs
STEP 4: Decant into your bottle
Scrimper Tip
Why not wrap it and give as a gift
Approximate cost - £5.11
FROM SUPERSCRIMPERS WEBSITEHighest debt: mountain of £8,691 in early 2003. [strike]Debt when I joined MSE in 06: mound of around £2,246... smaller mound of around £1900[/strike][strike]

All flavours of 70cl Baileys will be going down to £8 in the next couple of weeks in Asda. They also have the new Malibu snowcoco 70cl for £13.
Hi rochy,
May I just ask how you know this and do you know an exact date at all?
Just I only saw the offer in Morrisons for the 1l bottles at £12 this Monday but they had sold out. I called tonight and they told me the offer has now finished

I dont know if this might be a red herring but i was in a branch of A earlier and they had a huge end display of baileys, still marked up at £15 but wondering whether it might have been put out in preparation for a bigger reduction at the weekend??Car Boot Queen!!
Clothes Golden Rule: Never pay full price unless it is an utter bargain in the first place!
Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!0 -
Have you tried making your own ??? http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Original-Irish-Cream/Detail.aspxDo I need it or just want it.0

You, Sir, are a darn legend. I will be popping over to Asda on my lunch break and buying a bottle (only had £8.35 on me but a colleague has kindly lent me £1.50 and also a tenner to get her a bottle), should hopefully not have sold out already!0

In today's Daily Mirror, Asda advertising 1 ltr bottles of Baileys reduced from £15 to £10, max 3 per customer. Only shows original so don't think other flavours included.
