Might see if i can make my own baileys.
I used to have a recipe for Baileys but it disappeared. The only problem was that, because it contained fresh cream, it had to be kept in the fridge and drunk relatively quickly. How funny, I've not logged in to the forums for a couple of years but came by today to see if anyone had sniffed out any Baileys Christmas special offers, and I find a whole thread full of Baileys fans!

I've tried the home made stuff - found a recipe on this forum somewhere cant remember but probably on the OS thread somewhere - but have to say not a patch on the real stuff nor the cheaper @ldi/L!dl alternatives.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

How abou a b-52?.......Baileys, Tia Maria (or Kahlua) and Grand Marnia. Yum yum. Brings back fond memories of a girls hol in Greece

Although its not the real thing Sainsburys own version of Baileys is £9.0

Yes the recipes ive found list cream, makes sense it needs to be drunk quickly.0 -

There is a recipe somewhere on the forum, sorry cant remember where but may be in one of the Old Style Christmas related threads. It used evaporated and condensed milk - I tried it but found the condensed milk sank to the bottom.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Costcutter's are currently selling Baileys Irish Cream 70cl for £8.99 (£1.28/100ml).
Cheapest I've seen these is at Waitrose for £11.0 -
