Went to Tesco last night.. £15 Baileys... £12 Tia Maria but did well with the 25% off wine offer.

When picking baileys like drinks check the ingredients as ive had a drink of what I thought was baileys but wasnt a nice alternative due to the ingredients used.
What you're looking for is one that's whisky & cream based. A lot of the cheap fakes are made with wine as well. Absolutely yucky and nothing like Baileys.

Regarding the cheaper options..If it were for me I would totally go with Aldi's own...(not tried it but love Aldi in general), but as it is for a gift I want to get the proper stuff!!
Look out for the special edition of aldis own "baileys" last year it was £6.99 and made with irish whisky & cream0 -

I use the cheaper supermarket versions to make this as I think Bailey's would be a waste.
Make a glass of hot chocolate,add a measure of Bailey's(or equivalent) stir in a spoon full of chocolate sauce and top with whipped cream.
Delish but very moreish!!0 -
