When picking baileys like drinks check the ingredients as ive had a drink of what I thought was baileys but wasnt a nice alternative due to the ingredients used.

What you're looking for is one that's whisky & cream based. A lot of the cheap fakes are made with wine as well. Absolutely yucky and nothing like Baileys.

The Sainsburys TTD is a fab substitute.

All flavours of 70cl Baileys will be going down to £8 in the next couple of weeks in Asda. They also have the new Malibu snowcoco 70cl for £13.
thanks rochycoo! will keep this thread going hopefully up until december when it all goes back up in price, if anyone goes into any supermarkets over the weekend and spies any unexpected weekend only discounts do post on here! thanks all!

Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!

Going to check M out then, was planning on going there over the weekend anyway!

Regarding the cheaper options..If it were for me I would totally go with Aldi's own...(not tried it but love Aldi in general), but as it is for a gift I want to get the proper stuff!!

Look out for the special edition of aldis own "baileys" last year it was £6.99 and made with irish whisky & cream

  • I use the cheaper supermarket versions to make this as I think Bailey's would be a waste.
Make a glass of hot chocolate, add a measure of Bailey's(or equivalent) stir in a spoon full of chocolate sauce and top with whipped cream.
    Delish but very moreish!!
  • will keep an eye out this week when out and about, and if anyone hears any rumours do pass them on! the half price offer must be due soon!
