Would the ladders below be a ok height for cleaning gutters on a terraced house?

didn't want them, i built up the floor with three sections, ladder in the middle, plastic on the left, copper on the right, keeps it all seperate & the waste pipe stays nice & white as it's not rubbing against the copper, plus it stops all those lovely people that wanna try & deprive me of my copperI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You could do with one of these, makes working a lot safer and easier.

Whilst there's nothing wrong with the height it's not commercial spec - it's for 'home' use - which is code for 'poor quality'. Max safe load is 15st.
Try this one instead;

A couple of quid cheaper and will take up to 23.6st - which if you happen to have a slow metabolism, coupled with a fast pie arm like me, you may benefit from.
Edit: This is the one I use for my gutters: http://www.screwfix.com/p/lyte-trade-elt230-double-extension-ladder-10-rungs/188710 -
just beaten to it
but as above
the height isnt the problem
it depends on your weight that ladder is rated for 15 stone swl (safe working load)
cheap ladders are just that cheap and poorly made with poor max loads
lately ive noticed sky "engineers" having to now (due to health and safety)put a fixing into the wall to tie the ladder onto
as your going to be working from the ladder-which technically you should never do there are alot of risks Id hire a mobile tower for a day0 -
Im with post #8. There is no way i would climb that cheap and cheerful domestic grade ladder. Its rubbish.
The triple i have here is commercial grade. Its got to be 25 years old and is very solid and heavy. I;d trust it..well..with my life !Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
