    I can only speak from experience - a fan heater works best when it is directed away from my body.
  • i have 4 free standing oil filled radiators....i have them on all day from 8-8 and it cost me about 35 a week to run....its not as warm as gch but i am all electric and will have to make do.

    Oil filled rads range in size(output) from about 0.4kW to 3.0kW.

    £35 a week would suggest a consumption of around 300kWh. If it uses that in autumn it is likely to cost a lot more in winter.
  • yep ur right i have them running on half heat as well....considering they have been on all day u would have thought i would have been wearing a bikini, not this thick jumper....they only take the chill off the air.
