Samsung S2 Deal

Hi all,
One of the members on here sent me a link to uswitch which is where I found this contract plan which seems to suit me best...

uswitch, s2 contract 50min calls, unlimited texts, 500mb internet = £16.50 / month

I am a low call maker, low texter but would use the internet fairly often, Mostly from the home b.band.

Are there likely to be any better offers than this around?

Cheers

  • If you definitely think you won't go over the calls then it's a good deal. But if you aren't confident there's always talkmobile's S2 deal via onestophoneshop with

    250 mins
    5,000 texts
    500mb data

for £7.50/mth BUT the phone costs £225.00 upfront. With the £25.25 cash back from topcashback it actually works out slightly cheaper over the course of the contract. And with many more mins...
  • There are better deals if you're OK with cashback and you get it!

    Hi Mike

I have just found a couple with cashback via money supermarker which as you say would work out cheaper over the course of the contract.
How easy is it to get the cashback, are the firms reliable providing I keep my end of the deal or is it likely to be a load of hassle?

    Cheers :)

If you are talking about redemption deals it would depend who you go with and they are hassle in the sense that you have to be organised (I'm not!)
  • Yep, MoneySupermarket is where I was looking. The cash back is by redemption. I haven't done this for several years. When I last did, I followed the instructions to the letter and had no problem. It is a bit of a gamble, though.
If you time it right, you can get cashback (Quidco, TopCashBack et al.) AND a redemption deal too.
