Suspected thief at the sorting office maybe?

Never ever had this happen to me before but in the last month 3 things have gone missing in the post that I have bought from ebay or play. All sellers have had proof of postage which I have seen. One was a top, one a wii game and the other a furby. This seems so wrong and rather worrying that they have all seemingl been 'lost' in the post. My address details are correct so I don't understand the problem. What should I do about this? Anything that I have ordered which are delivered through other carriers ie Yodel and Hermes have all turned up. This time of year I go mad buying online because of christmas but now Im just worried! Its not fair on me or the poor sellers. Any advice or ideas on what the problem could possibly be would be greatfully received!

I would complain to RM - it can't hurt.
For the moment don't buy anything else online and make sure your sellers know that they can/should claim from RM and refund you."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Ok, thank you CrowQueen - I will complain to them - something just doesn't smell right at all.0

Are you getting any of your other post?"Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Yes, all of it. Annoying bills - wish they would take them and pay them! It is just parcels that are dissapearing.0

Definitely tell Royal Mail. You may not be alone in suffering and they may be able to trace who is handling what.0

Good luck with sorting this out. You still have two months to replace what you lost."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Thank you, I will certainly be seeing this through.0

Post something to yourself, like a cheap game or DVD (something you wouldn't miss). Put a little note inside saying something along the lines of 'stop stealing my stuff you thieving b******d' and see what happens.
If it doesn't get delivered, there is a strong possibility someone is stealing your stuff, but at least they will know you are onto them and it may be enough to make them stop.
Just a thought really.0 -
Report it to your local delivery office manager & they will investigate0

Your report to Royal Mail just may be the last bit of a push they need to investigate a worker/s. There has been some complete horror stories and Royal Mail do need to do more to limit the amount of thefts by their employees. The amount some have been able to steal before it being noticed is amazing
Here is just a sample
Postman who hid 75,000 items of mail
Royal Mail postman charged over 70,000 missing letters
COPS hunting stolen mail found more than 10,000 letters and parcels in a garage — with a postie’s bike. Photos included with this storie.0
