    I absolutely agree with giving them a soaking. Cats are intelligent and will stay away from places where they know they aren't welcome.

    I had this problem once, some years ago, I found banging 2 large saucepans together in the garden when the 'stray' cats were about and me screeming :o like a wild thing soon solved the problem! :rotfl:
