Ive handled reused bags for years and been ok, seems odd how the OP registered over 2 years ago and his first thread (albeit odd choice) is about reuseable carrier bags breeding bacteria.

If people washed their hands after using the loo, and unbelievably there are still MANY people who choose not to wash after visiting the loo that would dramatically slow the spread of viruses.
I am disgusted by the number of ladies who come out of a loo cubicle, walk up to the handbasins - and then brush their hair or adjust their make up without washing their hands...
