    Afternoon all,

The interview went well, I think. It's hard to tell but they are ringing tomorrow to see if I am through to next stage so fingers crossed. Thanks for all you positive vibes.
Just quickly marinaded some pork chops and just par boiling the veg and then will bung the whole lot in the oven for half an hour. I love roast veg including parsnips, sweet and new potatoes, courgette onion and peppers
Can't believe how quick it's gone dark tonight. Will still walk tonight but may take a more brightly lit less secluded route.
Dh is halving a power nap as he was up most of the night coughing, again.
Have been fancying oranges all day must need some vitamin c either that or I'm pregnant_pale_
Came home to find DS and his friends dressed in their suits, apparently they are going to a Halloween party as gangsters and they have been practising :rotfl:

  • Afternoon/evening all.
Had a good nights sleep last night and baby seems to be fine and well now.
Took ds1 to school who was really excited to be back, and had loads to tell me when I picked him up.
As soon as I dropped him off I went to the local lidl and picked up a couple of bits and only spent £12 which should last us till Saturday? Hopefully It does as I have joined the 7days ff but I'm doing 5 days lol.
Came back and I have done two loads of washing and got the airers out, they are nearly dry now and I will need to put away before bed tonight.
Baby has been crawling around playing with his toys and has been really good today.
Dh came home at lunch and picked up his sandwiches I prepared for him, he then rang me from work. And said they were great, (I used the leftover chicken from yesterday and mixed it with tikka powder and put them with salad in a baguette) so I am trying to make use of things and not chuck anything away.
When ds 2 went down for an hour nap I sat and looked at next weeks offers at lidl and I've made a shop list for Saturday so I don't miss out on the lil offers.
Instead of driving to school to pick ds1 up me and ds2 walked, (well he was pushed lol) and I told ds1 I had got him a little Halloween gift.....ghostbusters 1 for £2.99 at lidl and he's watching it for the second time already lol, I'm glad he likes it.
Just had sausage casserole for tea and its the first dinner ds1 has nt complained about.
Waiting for dh to come home from work, so il kill some time and bath the kids......no rest for the wicked hehehe :)

    Evening All

Welcome to newbies, good to meet you. Hugs to those feeling under the weather.

The weather here has been really good - Got all the washing dried outside on Saturday, it rained yesterday but today has been bright and sunny if not a tad cold!

Met friends after work for a coffee, got a hall committee meeting tonight (hope I don't strangle the chairman!). Tea is lo mash and veg that I am going to fry in a big pan with some onions and sun dried toms, can't bear to throw it out!

Take care all and enjoy half term if it's your turn, ours was 2 weeks ago.

JackieO - hope your DD is tucked up safe in NYC, I think Sandy may make some damage. I have a few friends who live on East Coast so hoping they all get through it ok.

Funny day weather wise, showers and sunshine. Seen lots of rainbows today.

Work kids all go on placement now for 3 weeks, as do 3 of my colleagues groups of work kids, so we were all quite giddy in the office today :rotfl:. Although I will have 3 of mine in this week as they are going to schools and it's half term here, but they are good kids and will only be in for few hours.

I'm feeling a bit odd. I'm starving yet nauseous, but not my normal vertigo nausea. Bath and early night I think.

OS wise - recycling put out, dishes washed, pasta bake made for tea, LOs will be lunches this week.

    Have a good evening all
