It's the usual problem. This happens every time the clocks change.

I'm surprised that MSE haven't sorted it on the server end yet so we don't have to go through the same stupid rigmarole every time. :(

Go to the link --> Edit Options

Then make sure that your time zone is correct and that it it is set to automatically detect DST corrections.

That way, the forum clock./timestamps should be correct while you are logged in.

They will still be wrong if you try to view the forum while logged out, but MSE need to sort that bit on their server side.

All the settings are correct as you have put, but is still showing wrong time, I am logged in, otherwise I would not be able to post.

Time of posting is 12-16, time at bottom of page and post is 1-16 PM

    While logged in.

Posting time and timestamp on post match and are both correct GMT.

And time at the bottom of the forum is correct.

    While logged out.

    Timestamps wrongly show GMT+1

These settings while logged in give the right time/display for me.

Your post #7 is what my settings are and have been forever, I have been logged in since about 10-30 this morning and the time on my posts and at the bottom of the page are still 1 hour fast, the correct time now is 1 -16 PM, time at bottom of page now is, "All times are GMT +1. The time now is 2:16 PM."

Your posts on my machine, (despite refreshing), are 1 hour fast, i.e. post #8 is showing as 1:47 PM, and my reply #9 is showing as 2:16 PM

    .

Very very weird then, as when logged in your settings in the userCP should overide any wrong time on the server.

Still, as said, those settings make everything appear OK for me.

So the question I suppose is why?

Is it something odd on your forum account that is stopping the correction besides those settings? By that I mean in the way the forums are set up, not what you have selected in your options.

i.e. Why do you and I see different things?

In the end the base forum clock is still wrong. That needs to be sorted. And it is beyond belief that MSE haven't worked out how to automate the switch yet. Each year it seems to need multiple thread on this board to get it changed.

Oh BTW, I've tried it on 3 different computers and get the same thing.

    Correct times when logged in.

    Incorrect when logged out.

So that is consistent from my end at least.
