Hello, I was wondering does anyone know if xl do any discount codes? I am looking for flights for 10th or 11th August to Malaga for 2 weeks. Xl are the cheapest I've found, but still seem expensive. Thankyou in advance.

I would rather spend extra money that fly with excel even if i had to borrow it!

they really are an appalling airline with low regard to all customers. they have an outrageous record in delays & cancellations & their fleet are old and their staff are disenfranchised & unhappy which is all reflected in their attitudes to customers

I don't want to put you off ! But I would never fly with XL airways! They have a bad service. We went on a flight with them to malaga last year , only to find when we got there they told all of us to get on a coach out side the airport and then we would have to catch our flight from Birmingham and we were suppose to be checking in Cardiff. We reached Palma 12 hours later. On the return journey we were unable to get on the plane because there was no plane and we had a delay of 10 hours! Compensation £10 ! Thats why I will never fly with xl airways.

I used "TESCO" as a £10.00 saving a week ago. Probably still vaild.

I have flew with XL several times and always had a good flight and been on time so no complaints from me

Same here. No complaints to Fuerteventura with XL. I was relieved though because you do get what you pay for generally.

Get your facts right before posting drivel !

The majority of XLs fleet are Boeing 737 800 series,. The first 800 series was operated by Hapag Loyd and the first flight was in 1998 , most of their fleet is more recent than that in fact some are brand new as they have a policy of continual update and now lease from Boeing .

They have several Boeing 767s and 2 757s that had major overhalls before going into service which they use on long haul flights .

Hardly an old decrepid fleet !
