Digital Luggage Scales?

Hi can anyone recommend one, there seems quite a price variation. Are the cheap ones as accurate?

whos to say the expensive ones are accurate?

i bought mine from a pound shop years ago and its still going strong, even with the same battery.

my only advice is try and find one with a decent handle and hook as its a pain not having anything big enough to hang on to and a tiny hook which is awkward when trying to attach to your bag

Bought the cheap analogue one from the pound shop, large hook. Checked luggage on bathroom scales at home, luggage scales were within half a kilo at twenty kilos, accurate enough for me. Throw in suitcase and take with me

Good solid webbing goes round the suitcase handle so no problem with hooks, and very reliable/

But where digital scales score for me is that they 'hold' the readout, so you can put the case down quickly (the analogue ones that I have seen require you to read the weight while holding the case off the ground).

I think this is a case of going by recommendations on Amazon. I had some cheap scales give up on me last week when weighing a couple of stone.
I have paid for 29 kilos on a flight (about 4.5 stone) & have decided to use human weighing scales to be as accurate as possible. The legal maximum for a hold suitcase is 32 kilos. Mind you I am sort of emigrating for a couple of years so my suitcase is going to be heavier than a holiday effort.:beer:

I know these will. I own one and they really will live up to their 50Kg limit. As no airline is allowed to accept cases over 32Kg they will be fine.

I can recommend the TripNeeds Ultimo. It is accurate, easy to use and comfortable to hold. Bizarrely, the price seems to depend on the colour. When I bought one, red was the cheapest, now it is the most expensive. :huh:

I have a Balanzza. Expensive end of the market, but very accurate, so pay for themselves in no extra baggage fees. Use everytime I fly.

Deduct the first figure from the second.
