  • Well I had 2 non-spends days - Wednesday and Thursday which I thinks makes NSD 7 & 8 but I have lost the plot and can't remember !!!!

    That is very poor really:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Will try harder

  • It's Friday (what a quick week) lets wiggle bth_thdanc03.gif

Can I borrow the wiggle please? It's my first proper weekend off in 6 weeks.:D
Just popping on to declare my NSD #4 for yesterday. It was a good money saving day as I was also earning some extra cash doing polling station duties - hopefully will get the money before Christmas! So glad it's Friday, hoping for a NSD day today, but we shall see. If it comes out of a budgeted for envelope I see some of you still count it as a NSD, whereas I've only been counting NSD as those where no money leaves either an account or a purse/envelope. What's the rules on this one?

The rules are really up to you.Because I have a weekly grocery budget and a monthly budget for everything else,as long as I don't go overbudget, then it's an nsd.It helps to keep me in check.

    #13 today please.

    Have a good weekend everyone!

A very expensive day today of car service and MOT - £180 and then dog grooming hair do today too £31. Anyway, had a think about budgeting for next year and have devised a plan to save up with a safety cushion for next year's MOT and service to put a monthly savings plan in place.

My head is in the right place now to save up for it, plan for it and not worry about the expensive next time around. Also have to save up for another job to do on the car along with the car tax and have also devised a savings plan for that alongside hopefully some ebay sales which I'll be listing over this weekend.

Not sure if tomorrow will be a NSD or not, but, one day at the weekend will be and then its onto next week which will have plenty in to get to the target in time

Happy weekend everyone and happy NSDing too

Was planning to go to the cinema to see the Sapphires but Twilght has taken over all the screens in the multiplex which means a quiet night in and no spends

    Happy Friday all.

Thanks! The joys of doing shift work...Legally we are supposed to get one weekend off a month.I often work either Sat/Sun or both.It really does make a difference to get all the weekend off.:)
  • No NSD for me today, as needed some food for the weekend. Tried to go to Tesco petrol station as I was there, but it was really busy so I gave up on that one.
Really do need petrol for the new work week, so will try and go on Sunday morning when it's quieter.
    Aiming for a NSD tomorrow!

I hope that your budgeting plans work out.It does take a bit of discipline, but is so worth it.

Evening all NSD 12 to report. I have decided that i am going to carry on with this no spendy days and try to just have one spend day per week in future. I have learned alot from this site over the last year and am already feeling better off. I had begun a spend diary and have been gradually cutting things back. This challenge has taken it to a new level my spend diary is almost empty and my bank mini statements are too. Its a lovely feeling and I like it :j Thank you P0lly x
