BDINI (((hugs))) hope you're on the road to recovery xxxxsolventsoon wrote: »rising - well done for giving up smoking, I hadn’t noticed either until freeby pointed it out, keep it up now, you can do it:T
Thanks- getting there. Keeping track of the savings does help ..... I was never going to save huge amounts (rolled my own for years) which used to be one of the "justifications" I used for not stopping but it does still add up ...... and if you think that if I had smoked "normal" cigs, that total would be over £200 by now  you can see how some people really do save a fortune - as well as the obvious health benefits.
Still struggling a bit atm but hopefully it will start to get easier :TGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Morning all!
Well, in contrast to yesterday's lovely sunshine, it's gloomy here. We're forecast rain later as well. Just phoned my agency to see if they had work, nothing in yet, but sometimes they'll phone me again around 8:15 with something... We shall see!
If not, I shall be staying in and working on my NaNoWriMo Novel (A yearly writing challenge to write a 50,000 word novel from scratch during November). This is my 3rd year of competing and gives me something fun to do when money is tight.
Watching breakfast news, they're talking again about raising fuel tax in January. Petrol is so expensive now! I really need to think more seriously about those little drives I do that I don't need to. For instance, lately I've taken to driving to the post box, because it's a ten minute walk... I think I need to work on combining journeys a bit more. See what savings I can make.Because it's fun to have money!
