Hello gang! And happy November/pinch punch/white rabbits and all that jazz!
Good to see loads of new members - see BigMumma's post (which Ifwishes regularly re-posts as a reminder) for how the NSD challenge works. In a nutshell - you decide for yourself what counts as a no spend day, it's your rules made according to your personal circumstances. As soon as you know you have achieved another NSD, come on here and tell us about it. Or even if you haven't - post here whenever you feel like it, let us know how things are going.
And - beware the soggy paintbrush and mouldy kipper, which awaits all those who dare to say the F word (as in "I failed to get an NSD today"). As has been said before, every NSD is worth a celebration.
There is an unofficial committee (which anyone feeling brave enough can float in and out of) that does all the updates - Solventsoon (aka Spoon), freebyfifty, and various others will no doubt add you to the list and give you the official NSD gang welcome (not that I want to put you off, of course!)
And as for me - today was a spendy day, with OH C-mas prezzy and new trainers for DS being purchased. I do have great hopes for the next couple of days, though so watch this space! One life - your life - live it!0 -
Hope you are well.
Not a NSD for me today as I had to get some food in, as the fridge looked like Mother Hubbards after 4 nights away!
Stopped off at Matalan to buy new jeans (have gone up a dress size over the last few months... shameful), and picked up 2 of their packets of Xmas cards. They look quite posh/expensive and were 40 for £3, so might in fact last for 2 Christmases, especially as I've still got a few left over from last xmas to use up first!Because it's fun to have money!
