Congratulations, EvertheOptimist! I think there is a thread somewhere about moneysaving in families, so you might get some useful tips there.
Nearly November, everyone, are we all ready to go? I salute all those brave souls who have also joined the SayNo challenge, it would be difficult for me to join in that one as I share my home with four greedy gannets, 2 with 4 legs and 2 with 2 legs. I am almost convinced they all gang up to try and prevent me from collecting NSDs! I will be trying to be uberfrugal in November, though, as the grocery bill is getting out of control. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Hi everyone, I'm new to the NSD challenge (though have read/followed a few in the past).
Our income's just gone down at the time of the year we normally spend a bit more so I thought joining in the NSD might help me stick to my personal goal which is 18NSDs which for me won't include DD's or any gift vouchers, boots points etc I already have but anything that involves spending cash, on a card, or via paypal etc.
Look forward to keeping up with the thread.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Hi all! Well, it's a bright, shiny new month for us all. After a pretty good month making lunch I hope to have a NS month from not drinking C*ke, which is my biggest bugbear in life...I love the stuff...it's very bad for me...but oooooh *licks lips*
So I'm going to have a 'making lunches' count and a coke count. I will do them seperately as one might not be the same other and if I don't give myself credit for the things I do, the temptation to fall off the path of virtuousness is almost too great!
P.S. Ever...that's great news...congratulations!
P.P.S. I count 19 days I need to make lunch and 31 days of buying no C*ke.Please call me 'Pickle'

I'm going for a no spend day today to get off the mark while I'm recovering from this horrible virus. Aiming for 15 at least in November, as already started, by counting any day I spend money not budgeted for by DD and grocery challenge. Good morning everyone!
Thanks for this month's thread freeby! :T
I inadvertently fell off the NSD wagon and have been AWOL for a couple or so months; however, I'm back in an effort to stay on track and be debt free by the end of the year!
I hope to pick up where I left off (or should that be 'fell off'?) and aim for my usual lucky 19 NSDs and 6 NSDs in-a-row please - thanks again freeby! :starmod:
I hope I haven't missed anything whilst I've been away, and hope you've all been well. Have a good rest of the week everyone and congrats ETO!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
