Tesco's new carrier bags - lies!

Went to Tesco today and only bought about a fiver's worth of shopping so not a massive heavy shop. Noticed at the checkout that they had new bags which were very seethrough. Packed, paid, picked up my bag - just doing that the bag split and everything fell out on the floor. Packed it all into another bag and double bagged…

I'm finding the recent Tesco bags for life are significantly thinner than the old style ones. I have some going back 2 or 3 years which are quite thick. Yesterday I replaced one and it split as I was packing because of a "sharp" corner on a box of tea bags.
