to be honest its just as easy to buy the cello bags, just popped a couple of links from Amazon, (I've got the 3rd set - not that I need a 100, but they were cheap enough to last a couple of yrs!) x
Thanks for that. I was having a panic thinking I was going to have to make my own. I'm not a creative person, so this helps alot0 -

No probs, I've just been making up some stocking fillers with the orange cones and there strong, look nice and hold items well.
- Size of a crisp packet - filled with flying saucers sweets - 1 bag of them has fitted into the orange cone perfectly
- bigger bag of sweets - Meercat Bag (Home Bargains - £1) I got 1 bag of meercats split between 2 of the cones
- treat size chocolates - got 5 in there perfectly.
I've split sweets for hampers - look more expensive in the cello bags!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

I've never tried storing the almonds longer than a week or so but I think they should keep for a few weeks easily.0 -
I'm not sure if a link to the following website has already been posted here, if it has then my apologies for repeating it. I did try to have a look - but by the time I'd got to page eight I realised that a whole hour had gone by ... and that I was never going to make it to page 24 alive!
Anyway ... I came across this website completely by accident. I'm a member of a tiny forum of folks and since there are only a few of us we give each other 'internet' Christmas presents, and I went looking for some fun presents for men - and that's how I came across this website.
It does have fun presents, but it also has WAY much more to offer in the way of Homemade Gift Ideas. Each idea comes with full instructions - and the gifts are all in sections so that they're easy to find in any type of 'theme' or idea that you might have.
Aw, I'll shut up and give you the link so you can take a peep yourselves.

My favourite Christmas thread from the last couple of years. Full of brilliant makes and ideas. I thought I would try and resurrect it as it may be of help to any who are making gifts for school fates, Christmas Fairs or anyone who is just looking for some ideas

I have just received an email to remind me of this thread!
I need to go shopping and am delaying as re-reading from the start again.......:o
You have caused my meticulously planned day to fall way behind schedule:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh well. I may have to add to the list for items to make into gifts:D
Thanks
XXStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say

Sorry, if it makes you feel any better I had to re-read it from the beginning too :rotfl:0

The best small gifts I have seen at a school Christmas fair were Fimo shapes made into keyrings.
Google Images for Fimo keyrings.
You could make bespoke keyrings and let you creativity and imagination run wild for all you friends and family.0 -
