    I've been Money Tipped!
    Washing powder and toilet rolls.
  • Things like toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing powder, etc

I will now ONLY pay £1 a bottle for my Pepsi Max addiction. I refuse to pay £1.89 a bottle anymore because it's always, always on offer somewhere.

I then also have a £1 rule for everything else. When anything i use regularly comes up on offer at £1 then i stock up. So things like -

    Pasta Sauces
Other cooking sauces, curry sauce, chinese sauce, etc
    Branded potato products, chips, etc
    Pizza
I only ever pay £1 for large bags of crisps - there's always at least one brand on offer.

Anything really that can be frozen or stored for long periods of time in the cupboard.
    Mortgage - £105,500
  • Anybody ever see Pears liquid soap on offer? I really like this but its expensive, and I never see it on offer.
  • The good things about doing my grocery shopping online is that I can get almost everything on offer. I never have a definitive list. I will just have a list that says meat/fruit/whatever and will see whatever is on offer in that section of the website.

    Great thread idea OP

    Moo organic semi-skimmed UHT milk
    President unsalted butter
    Yeo Valley organic natural yogurt
    Ecover washing powder
    Anti-perspirant deodorant
    Johnson's baby shampoo
    Heinz soups
Reduced price/special offer cheeses for husband's lunches
    Tinned dog food
  • Anything on a good offer (providing it's something we use/eat!) that has a long shelf life. Plus anything that will freeze (and providing there is room in the freezer!) Any veg being sold off I buy to make soup and freeze that too.

Spotted a good offer in Aldi yesterday - 500gm Pitted Prunes for £1.29 - use by Jan 2014, so a few bags of those went in my trolly (we like to keep regular!!!)
