    dishwasher tablets

I did that, bought about £20 worth of finish when it was on a brilliant offer somewhere. One week later my dishwasher died :(

    I bulkbuy:

Cans of coke zero/pepsi max. I've always got a couple of cans in my bag at work, nothing worse than paying services prices when you're dying for a drink. That and I think I'm addicted.

    Loo roll.

    Kitchen roll.

Cheese (£5 a kilo wholesale, £4 for next to nothing in the supermarkets)

    Muesli or Fruit and Fibre.

Screenwash.£2 for 5 litres in the shops, more like a pound a gallon trade.

Spread, generally buy a caterring tub and cut a lump out and put it in a smaller tub.

Bacon - buy a caterring pack, split it up with greaseproff paper and freeze it.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

    Everything.

Stuff like milk & fresh fruit you have to pretty much take what's there or go without.

A few things never seem to go on offer so I use them as fillers when I have a conditional spend coupon (polos, cat litter seem to be the most common for me.)

Everything else I'll try to get when it's on offer or reduced. The longer the shelf life the more I'll buy.

Currently stocking up on baking ingredients courtesy of Tesco's 3 for 2 offer. (don't know about the manned tills but if you use self service group the items by price. 3 items @ £1 followed by 3 @ 50p will give a discount of £1.00 & 50p rather than discounting the 2 cheapest items)

I don`t have a definite list in mind ,but obviously includes the staples already mentioned, as a previous poster said, if I use it and it`s a "good" offer I will stock up, when "Ariel" liquid on special last summer:( 3 pound the huge bottle,I stocked up and have enough to last several years. Similarily the flash power spray, 1-50 a bottle always been 3-50 no reduction,so 4 bottles in cupboard.
Do I need it or just want it.

decent coffee (douwe egberts if possible)
    loo rolls
any washing powder/liquid (i'm only loyal to whats on the offer and the cheapest)
nice marmalade (I hate cheap stuff)
fairy washing up liquid (The only stuff I will use and its getting to be silly money now)
Anything thats been reduced in M&S's as its blooming good quality (I know when they start reducing at my local one so I am always lurking around there :))

If it's something I know we'll use I'll buy enough to last until the next time it's (or something else similar, I have no brand loyalty!) likely to be on offer.

The only thing that I will buy 10 at a time of is cat food and Dove/Nivea liquid soap.
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

Toilet paper, washing up liquid, laundry stuff and tuna. Unfortunately OH only likes the stuff in oil which seems to be on offer far less than the one in brine.

Those stock pot thingies. Very expensive normally, but they do enrich a gravy. Won't pay full price.

Absolutely everything, six months worth or more if non perishable. Started buying bulk about four months ago and at the point now where am running out of space!! This weeks shopping is lots of five things, plus milk and salad. I have it delivered and pretty sure the driver thinks I'm loony :) My weekly shopping bill has gone down to almost half as a result, so worth the effort.
