ok, I think the title of this thread needs changing to reflect the fact that it does seem to be starting at midnight tonight, 10th April. Looks like it ends on 12th April rather than starting then! I shall go and change the title right now :)

Seems you can access the offers now.

Not sure if you can book them though.

What is the deal with cancelling bookings? E.g. I see something interesting, book it and change my mind. Would I get a full refund? I guess distance selling regs don't apply to holidays..

For short date bookings the deal don't look that great to me.

    What do others think?
  • ok, have looked at a few bits, doubt I can stay up till after 12 midnight unless the prices quoted are minus the discount stated on some , i.e. one sale says gbp149.00 per person and just above it says 48 hour sale - gbp60.00 so if they are charging gbp60.00 then worth me staying up and same goes if the price is 60 from the 149 (89.00) but if the price written is the one before the discount then I'm going to bed! x your thoughts please
If I told you, you really wouldn't believe it could happen!

How can they have bargains.....they only book these holidays or flights thru someone else, they are not their own holidays, they dont fly any planes,if they seem like bargains then they are available direct from the operator or airline,Lastminute are only agents, much like any travel agent and as such must be seen as middlemen taking a cut of your money
    Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!

you have a point but you could take the other side and say how do you know they arent gooing to put up with giving some holidays at a loss in order to drum up publicity?
