Buying new glasses and prescription sunglasses

I popped into specsavers today (in m'lunch break ) and liked a few frames, also like the way they tell you the prices clearly :T as soon as the sunglasses 2 for 1 offer comes along, this crab's going head first into specsavers

hiya crabster, haven't found out exactly when its starting but the current offer (241 designer) started on monday and is going on till the end of April, it will probably only last 2 weeks or 4 at the most, hopefully the 241 with sunnies will start after that but no word from the top yet

well I said I would report back from above - I ordered my sunspecs and normal specs from Fashion Specs Direct and they arrived in just 3 days !!:j :j
They are awesome - can't wait to get on the plane.
Makes a big difference when they don't have to come all the way from Pakistan like the other stuff I tried.

Another thing I need to be weary of is having thin lenses in both pairs, my prescription is -4 and -4.5, and the lenses can be a wee bit thick (just like me ) so unless I opt for one of those chunky frames it's going to be extra cost by t'looks of things

when boots have their BOGOF offer, i use this to get my pair of specs and pair of prescription sunglasses (i only take my specs off for bed so am yet to lose them *touch wood* hence not going for 2 pairs of normal specs )

i paid an extra £15 i think for the tint on the sunnies. this was 2 years ago
