Quidco cancelled by mobiles.co.uk

Hi

Has anyone else had their Quidco cash back cancelled from Mobiles.co.uk?

I placed an order last week with £60 cash back for my upgrade, and asked for delivery on Friday 19th Oct. The cash back showed as tracked on the Quidco website.

After having an email yesterday to say that my network check had failed, I contacted them via telephone to find out that everything was fine, and my phone should be arriving today.

I then had another email last night to say that my order had been cancelled, so telephoned AGAIN to be told that my phone should arrive today, and the order had not been cancelled.

I have had an email this morning from Quidco to say that Mobiles.co.uk have cancelled my cash back, and I have really lost my patience with them.

Has anyone had similar problems? If so did they get successfully resolved? Not sure whether I need to cancel my order and just start all over again???

PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes, this has been reported many times. For rejecting cashback they use an excuse that the transactions wasn't fully completed online. It's difficult to say whether this is a result of their incompetence or deliberate actions for avoiding paying cashback. Don't expect to get any help from Quidco as they are pretty useless with regard to rejections and disputes.

Yes, you can cancel the order and repeat it if a second credit check wouldn't be a problem for you. However, there is no guarantee that this won't happen again.
  • Has anyone argued and got their cashback? This is about problem 4 so far that I have had with the website in the last week. Not sure whether or not to cut my losses and start all over again via another mobile phone site.

Use Topcashback. I left Quidco in disgust about 3 years ago when (according to them) I was their highest cashback earner.

You did say upgrade? Most cashback deals do not apply for 'upgrades' only on a new connection. (Because the connection bonus paid to the resellers will be less).
