For those who prefer the old start menu i would recommend downloading 'classic' shell which gives you back the start button on the desktop but still allows the metro interface via Shift+Start. Link: http://classicshell.sourceforge.net/0

I have to say I like windows 8. It was extremely easy to create a bootable usb with it on. Yes the ui is a bit different but once used to it, its really quite easy to navigate around.0

Warning!! I have tested an upgrade on another PC and it doesn't work!! Suprise, suprise!! If you are not computer literate do not waste your money as there are a lot of people who are computer professionals and they can't get an upgrade from Windows 7, Vista or XP to work. It seems the only way to install at the moment (unless u r lucky) is to start from scratch and delete everything on your PC. This isn't what I call an upgrade!!
Oh well, I should have known this would happen, why would MS want to make it easy for us.0 -
