if your wanting a bike engined one dont build something with a car engine all your doing is wasting money as its not what you want why build one to then have to upgrade the engine, ecu and wiring loom, fuel pump, exhaust manifold etc at a later date0

Reminds me of my mate phoning me from Halfords and asking me if I needed anything while he was there. Would have thought they'd sell radiators for such a common car as a 74 Beetle.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

One of the things holding me back is the dilemma between bike vs car engined kit, on one side the bike engined kit has always been my goal, on the other side I know they are not as pracitcal as car engineed kits on the road.0

If you're good with tools you could save a lot by building from scratch rather than getting a kit car.

Bike engines = big power BUT 'normally' revvy as hell (speaks as the owner of a big twin that redlines at 7200) If you're looking at a 'Busa engine then LOTS of power (180-200 bhp) but very low MPG, shorter service intervals, sequential gearbox - if you can cope with that then fair play0 -

Sorry did I misunderstand your post, are you stating the positive points of a Honda Hayabusa bike engine for a bike engined kit car?. That all sounds quite good to me
