We just do ours with scissors! They don't always look as smart as other people's dogs, but it's free! :money:

I have to say though, I've been looking into getting some clippers too, I saw some by Wahl (i think) in Argos for around £30, I'm sure you could get them cheaper online, but they looked pretty good. I'm just worried about how noisy they'd be, because one of my dogs is a right scaredy cat! He hates the hoover, the ironing board, the washing basket, mop, buckets, carrier bags... the list goes on!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Incidently, this is the dog I've had from a pup, not the one we rescued from a bin that was previously beaten and mistreated! Honestly, he is a right sap! I'll have a look around the net for you, 2 heads are better one.

    It's sleeting here! :eek::eek::eek:

Can't go wrong with wahl clippers just make sure you spray with WD40/oil before each use, well i do:)

This is how the darkside explains it- has to be done by tom I think.

To save your time I have to tell that you have to by min 6 bottles to get this price and has to be bought online!!!!

"OK, now how we get £7.49 per bottle price: At present price reduced to £12 (normally £24). You add to the basket six bottles (or more) it will show total £144, when you got to check out it will come up total £72. You choose delivery slot £2.95 and then you input code (on darkside can't put it here) which will give you -£12. So the total will show as £62.95 (confirmation email will say " The estimated* cost of your order is GBP 62.95"
, but the actual price your card will be charged 44.95 (if you buy six bottles -25%)
So what we've got: 6x£12-25%-£12+2.95=44.95 (£7.49 per bottle) I've paid with credit card which gives me 1% cash back (-0.44) :-)

It's not worked for me... says the code has expired :(

Edit: i did order it for £72 and had a £10 code of my own. delivery due sunday so hope the 25% will be taken off.

Trouble is Mum is getting frail and just wants to keep the peace. She does think it is none of their business but is actually scared of my brother and sister so I dont know what will happen.

For instance when Dad died he was buried within a week ( cau
se my sister had her last week at work before retiring and had to fly home). My younger brother insisted we use his mate the funeral director even though he was based 20 miles away and when a double grave was mentioned my sister insisted we buy 2 plots and we all just said yes. Now Mum only realised this a few weeks ago and is very upset she cant be buried with Dad. So now it is gravestone time and I got a card from the cemetery for the local stonemasons and my youngest sister offered to go. But at the last minute my oldest brother said he would go and although Mum chose a stone we are now in week 4 of getting prices from other masons. I said that Mum should just be allowed to choose the stone and engraving but my oldest sister insists that there has to be an Italian element to the wording even though Mum wants a simple English wording.
So you see what I am up against

Crikey you're going through it. :(:(

I don't have any advice I'm afraid, just big hugs for you. Chin up pard. :A:A:A xx

How much noise do they make please? The amazon link I posted is for Wahl clippers, all the accessories and you can get the lubrication oil all for around £23. Sounds pretty decent? thank you.

They didnt compare for me on a shop I did last night. Only bought 2 bottles but so annoyed that I contacted asda to complain. They are putting a £4 gift card in the post. And yes they are now priced at £11.28. Is your wine rack full yet JJJ?:)
Well thats something, did you pay £6 each then ?
