I bought the £5 thorntons Xmas choc selection on Thurs/fri last week and it worked as a trigger and came back as N/A on the receipt (AvT). Ill just nip to the garage for the b/c
Edit: B/C is 8653, red box 180g. Comes back as N/A :-)

So it was a sada v t list but it came back as NA - was it NA on the other lists as well, against M and against S?

This is very interesting, I am almost certain my small store had this one, the thorntons X because I picked it up and I thought that it did not look like very much.

so is this
Thorn X plus 2 MT for a sada v s shop
Thorn x plus 2 thorn Prems for a sada v m shop?

Maybe both - I would like the later but I always go into sada with at least one back up list incase I cant find what I want on the 1st list :D
Sorry, was off feeding tigercub and so hunted out my receipt re: these thorntons. Dated 03/11 and this is what the APG came back with....

A v T - didn't show on comparison so N/A
A v S - didn't show on comparison either
A v M - also didn't show at all :D

So thanks to you figuring it out, the Thorntons Xmas 180g ^ will be a trigger for ALL shops, not just A v T :T:T:T

There were lots of babies in the last few months so maybe there weren't many glitches last Oct/Nov/Dec
Errrrr....... I seem to remember a mega glitch about that time for Old El Paso. I still have refried beans and salsa from it.

Funnily enough, yesterday I gave my stash of old el paso to a friend because we just were not eating it.

Different ones to the ones bought today, the ones that have been bought and are cheaper in M's are the 214g.

Hth

Hi CoT - my post referred to a q on the Thorntons Xmas collection @ £5 that is a trigger for all T, S and M shops. :D;)

Yes, posted my results a couple of days back:)

Think the ones that show on the apg (today) and the other ones the christmas box are different, the christmas box does not show on the apg, I wonder what trigger ss3n08 used
Yep, good post Izzy. It's the Thorntons Xmas collection, red box @ £5 that came back N/A (well, was missed off the list) in all comparison shops :T It was Mhoc who figured it out, i just posted the results :o

I have just bought 2 x Milk Tray and 1xThorntons Christmas selection to test the theory so will report back. Hopefully someone will find an alternative trigger if this works as the Christmas selection is pitifully light for £5 (oh wait on, if it works I won't have paid £5 or £3.33 :) ).

Morning everyone - just caught up.

When Dad cam to visit (78) to help pick up kids last month I made him promise to go to docs, kept saying he was having problems with piles and lose movements (but doc had said he had diverticulatus which can cause runs). However he hadn't gone back so I nagged him - thank god for the publicity campaign - anything over 3 weeks isn't right and get it checked. Don't know why my mother didn't do it though - she just nags about other things poor b**ger. After tests and biopsy just found out he has colon cancer - so way things are going we are probably going to have radiotherapy at the same time albeit 100 miles apart (him Chrisity's me Jimmys). Then he'll have op and he says they are 66% certain he doesn't need chemo ....hummmm after them telling me I didn't need chemo then changing their mind after a week (same pathology report) I am taking that with a pinch of salt - hopefully with his age they'll err on the side of caution. Very strange year ............... Thinks of Dream.."Things can only get better ........"....

Edit - forgot to say our parents used to check our toilet habits - but now folks we need to check our (elderly parents) habits - they don't want to bother the doc or forget how long its been going on. Akindly word helps them take stock - HTH someone.
Crikey, you're having a tough time. I really hope things work out for both you and your dad...

Slightly different, but both have the same description, except the A. one says gift wrapped.
If you wanted to do a T vs A shop. they are £8 in Ts so 3 for £24 against £10 in A. Would probably need a few things to reduce the overage to £10 though.
